ABOUT ME
Home is my favorite place to be. I love to entertain family and friends. Perhaps being born on New Year's Eve, the party day of the year, has something to do with why I'm always up for a party!!!
The kitchen is my favorite room in the home because its the heart of the home and I love to cook. I've always loved to gather around the kitchen island and make something that usually involves making a big mess - but messes can be cleaned up - and the memories we make last a lifetime.
I enjoy taking an ordinary space and making it extraordinarily beautiful and functional at the same time.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
My design philosophy is simple; Choose QUALITY & EXPERIENCE and strive for EXCELLENCE.
What does "QUALITY & EXPERIENCE" mean to me? Quality means using only quality products and hiring experienced/reliable contractors. Quality and experience will cost more on the front end, but it is always costs less than replacing inferior/quick fix products and fixing shoddy carpentry. There are affordable, quality products that will serve your needs and be aesthetically superior. We only use experienced tradesman (e.g. reliable carpenters, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, flooring installers, tile setters, painters, etc.). This will help the project progress in a timely and efficient manner and stay on budget.
What does "EXCELLENCE" mean to me? There is no perfect design and no job ever goes exactly as scheduled - so we strive for excellence. There is no substitute for a good, well thought out strategic design. There are so many choices to make during any design project, but with my 30 years of design experience, I stay current with design trends and new products that are available and pass along that information to my clients - making their selection process less stressful.
